  This handcrafted Buddha incense burner is carved of clay by statue makers in Nepal before being fixed to the plate, fired in a kiln, and painted. It features a seated Medicine Buddha with lotus petal designs. Use this burner to reflect on the healing powers of the Medicine Buddha as you enjoy the fragrance of your incense. The Medicine Buddha is a deity of compassion and healing.  He is believed to alleviate suffering for mental and physical illness.  This burner includes a larger hole for Tibetan incense and a smaller hole for Japanese style incense sticks.
