Dying Light is an open-world first-person survival horror game developed by Techland and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. Released in 2015 for Xbox One and other platforms, it distinguishes itself with a day-night cycle that dramatically changes the game mechanics. By day, players traverse an expansive urban environment overrun by a vicious outbreak, scavenging for supplies and crafting weapons to defend against the infected populace. By night, the hunter becomes the hunted, as the infected become more aggressive and numerous, and something even more sinister awakens.
