This decal can be applied to finished or unfinished headstock. These are not waterslide decals. This decal can be Lacquered Over with a Nitrocellulose clear such as SprayMax 2X. They will not melt or "run". This decal is a Die-Cut Brushed Leaf Nickel decal and is 0.070 microns thick ((notebook paper)). This is a DIE-CUT self adhesive decal. There is not a background color. This decal is exact OEM measurements for Gibson guitar headstock.  This is my favorite metalized material here.
