FROM CHRYSANTHOS: Pack of 6 colored underglaze chalks – Black, Red, Blue, Green, Yellow and Brown Firing range between Cone 06 (999°C) and Cone 10 (1,305°C) Lead Free – For use on bisque Underglaze Chalks can be used for decoration or just marking ware. As they are fired higher they tend to fade. To not smudge any work, glaze should be slightly sponged on the design before brushing or dipping. USAGE Chrysanthos Underglaze Chalks are lead-free and non-toxic and are intended for use on bisque where it is desired to color or shade larger areas. APPLICATION Decoration with Chrysanthos Underglaze Chalks are suitable for use on most types of clays for decoration. Shades are created by first wetting and a brush and using it to smear a color that has been applied to bisque. Shades may also be created by using a wet or dry finger to smear color that has been applied to bisque. Two or more colors can be smeared together to create other colors or shades using the same technique as for one color
