WILLIAMETTE PEPPERMINT TEA

The best peppermint comes from the Northwest United States. This pure, moist mountain air and early spring and early summer growing season gives this peppermint some of the highest volatile oil counts of any member of the mint family. Peppermint is an herb and contains no caffeine. Peppermint tea when served hot has a bright pungent flavor that is cool and refreshing.  When served cool the menthol content produces a pleasantly chilling taste sensation.  Quite often peppermint is consumed after a meal as it stimulates digestion. Our luxury quality teas are packed in biodegradable pyramid bags which, when submerged in boiling  water, allow the tea leaves to float freely, releasing maximum flavor into the water.
