Ruby-Throated Hummingbird (female), 5x7 original mixed media painting, Day 34 of 100

Hummingbirds are so much fun to watch and feed!  I think Ruby-Throated hummingbirds might be the one most people think about when they picture a hummingbird.  This one looks a bit different because she is the female, she lacks the bright red throat but she still has beautiful shimmering feathers.  I used a special paint as a finishing touch so this painting sparkles too! The painting measures 5" x 7" and will arrive in an archival sleeve with a certificate of authenticity ready for framing and display.
