We were having a lot of issues with defective cylinders. So now we are only offering the brackets and hardware needed to adapt a 2004-2014 F-150 tailgate assist kit to your OBS. Any kit will work as long as its for an 04-14. No matter where you purchase from, they are all made in China, quality is hit or miss, but they will always make it right if you get a defective cylinder upon arrival. So we are forced to give away the secrets behind the kit, but this way everyone wins. Again, literally any kit that says it is for an 04-14 F-150 kit will give you the rest of the parts you need to make this a complete kit. Fits 1987-96 F-150 and 87-97 F-250/350.
