DMB-8820-E24 24-Channel H.264 HD Encoder features high performance, ultra-low latency and low bit rates for DTV systems, and adopts state-of-the-art compression technology(H.264/AVC) to achieve compression efficiency of the former MPEG-2 standard by over two times, as well as excellent resolution. Audio encoding supports MPEG-1 Layer2. The device provides input interfaces of 4/8/12/16/24 HDMI, and ASI output and 24*SPTS/1*MPTS TSoIP(UDP/IP) output after loss-less compression processing. The unique empty packets filtering capability enables the spectrum source to be saved for IPTV systems. DMB-8820-E24 has an external 1*ASI input, which can be multiplexed with local multi-programs to eliminate the needs of multiplexers, and also simplify the network architecture for high reliability solutions.
