Annotated Book of Jasher

The Book of Jasher is an apocryphal text referenced in the Bible in several places. The original ancient Hebrew manuscript was found in Europe and was eventually translated into English in 1840, ten years after the Book of Mormon was published. Its 91 chapters cover from Adam down to Joshua. It gives many insights into the early biblical texts and sheds new light on many of the stories in Genesis, including the creation, Noah and the ark, the flood, etc. Like the Bible, the Book of Mormon also references passages from the Book of Jasher.
