Forget Me Not

“Forget Me Not” is a clear base with mixed glitters and lavender and dark purple foils.  September is Dementia Awareness month. I created this dip in memory of my grandmother. 💜💜💜   Dementia is an umbrella term used to describe a number of different disorders that affect the brain, particularly memory, behaviour, thinking and emotion. Alzheimer's disease is the most common form of dementia. Other causes include vascular disease, dementia with Lewy bodies and fronto-temporal dementia. Dementia symptoms include difficulty recalling recent events, concentrating and following conversation. Dementia is incurable but research into a cure is ongoing. Mixed dementia is possible, for example some people have Alzheimer's disease as well as Vascular disease.
