Yellow Tang

Yellow Tangs are a popular choice for beginner aquarists, because of its bright sunshine yellow color, fantastic shape, bold personalities and relative ease of care. The Yellow Tang is an active swimmer that will glide throughout your aquarium in near constant motion, acting as an aquarium tour guide of sorts to any onlooker who follows its meandering swim path. The Yellow Tang belongs to the surgeonfish family and makes a wonderful addition to the marine aquarium, especially a peaceful community aquarium. It is relatively peaceful and will get along with a wide variety of tank mates, however the tang should be added last in a reef tank or peaceful fish only aquarium.
