AiM ECU Bridge with RS232/CAN Wiring Connecting to your vehicle's ECU through the CAN bus allows your AiM dash/data-logger to tap into a very wide array of data collected by your ECU. The AiM ECU Bridge with RS232/CAN Wiring works with the following AiM displays with a male Binder 712 5-pin CAN connector: MXG MXS MXT MXP MXm SW4 Steering Wheel Connecting a SmartyCam requires the AiM 7-pin to 5-pin CAN cable included with the SmartyCam. The ECU Bridge also features a special port for a USB cable (included) for easy connection to your computer for set-up. ECU Bridge has a CAN/RS232 connection for direct connection to many aftermarket ECUs. AiM has developed hundreds of different protocols to make compatibility with virtually any ECU possible, stock or aftermarket. The AiM ECU Bridge has to be properly configured with RaceStudio 3 software to communicate with the different dashes, cameras. etc., on one side and your ECU on the other side.
