Questions for My Guard sticker pack
This pack came out of my own recent experiences of my guard going up, waiving relational caution flags, and regularly reminding me of risks of connecting, making myself available, and showing up in the face of vulnerable realities. It came out of my desire to relate with my guard in moments where I've been pretty sure the caution, the guardedness, the defensiveness could be worked through, or at the least, considered with a bit more depth & intention. Relational hurts, traumatic experiences, & wounds happen; 'tis a fact of life. In the face of these hurts, traumas, & wounds, I want to remain available to connect, love & be loved, curious & playful, & considerate of my own past experiences. Rather than cast aside or rigidly accept the cues from my internal guard, I can ask questions – I can relate. Questions for my Guard has 25 questions without judgment or agenda to relate with your guard, your inner protector, your sense of defensiveness, your pre-cautious i
