This catalog was published as a companion to the exhibition of the same name held on November 22, 1977. With a Preface by the museum’s Director, Kamran Diba and an illustrated Introductory essay “An Historical Survey of Poster Art” by Negar Rohani, the Exhibition Curator. Lastly, Morteza Momayez’s important text summarizes the graphic arts in Iran with a focus on the “modern” poster and some of the changes that took place in Iran after 1942.
