Rockport, MA: Para Research, 1978. First edition, one of 5,000 copies. 184pp; bibliography. Glued in illustrated purple wraps. Very good or better, with light edgewear. Attractive copy of the final book by American writer, yoga instructor, and occultist Marcia Moore (1928-1979), as co-authored with her fourth husband; a treatise on the dissociative anesthetic ketamine hydrochloride and its potential as a vehicle for past-life recall. An increasingly heavy ketamine user, Moore died in 1979 under mysterious (but presumably drug-related) circumstances, having disappeared in the woods near her Washington-state home; her remains went undiscovered for two years. Despite its generous limitation, a notoriously uncommon book in the canon of drug literature.
