JoAnn Roberts (d. 2013) was the publisher of LadyLike magazine, and author of the Art & Illusion series of crossdressing guides, which she issued through her Creative Design Services imprint; she was also a co-creator of the Transgender Forum website. Though identifying as a crossdresser, Roberts was deeply committed to the broader trans rights movement, and was a co-founder of numerous organizations, including National Transgender Advoca
