Navy blue and green wool plaid pants from Pendleton.   Brand: Pendelton Waist:     35"      Inseam:   31"  with additional  2.25" selvedge to let out  Rise: 11"   Hem opening: 9.5"  Material: 100% Wool  Pockets:  2 angled front pockets and 2 slit back pockets one with button closure Zipper:  Polyester Circa: Late 1960s  - early 1970s Condition:  Excellent                 * THINGS TO UNDERSTAND WHEN BUYING VINTAGE PANTS * Depending on material - example:  wool - it will have no stretch.  The rise in vintage pants are generally much higher than modern jeans and waist measurement is a exact measurement.  Be sure to measure your pants you are wearing today even though they may say they are a "34" waist.  Then realize they have some stretch as well.  Vintage pants rarely fit the same waist as you are buying today.  Its a good idea to always buy larger than your modern pants by 1 - 2"  if you do not measure them or understand the fabric and buying vintage clothing.
