All of our handkerchiefs are created by the Old-Fashioned Company, based in Tokyo. The handkerchiefs are made by local craftsmen who are particular about delicate handwork. At first glance, the handkerchief looks like a square straight line. However, unlike paper, it is not easy to make a square fabric consisting of warp and weft. It seems that even a factory specializing in shirts, which seems more complicated, cannot do the same. At a handkerchief-specialized sewing factory, craftsmen sew with a focus on a square and beautiful finish. The handkerchiefs can withstand everyday use. Thin, high-quality thread gives the glossy finish and smooth touch. Hand-sewn overlock stitching adds stability and sturdiness.
