Launched in 2013, Casamigos is a tequila brand that was founded by George Clooney who is a popular American actor, Mike Meldman, a property developer, and Rande Gerber, a nightlife entrepreneur. When George Clooney and his close friend Rande Gerber started building their holiday homes next to each other, they spent their free time sampling tequilas. This is when Clooney gave a suggestion for them to create their own brand of tequila, and they began an adventure. At first, the Casamigos was supposed to be a private creation, but when it came out the public absolutely loved it. The name Casamigos comes from two Spanish words, 'casa' which means house, and 'amigos' which means friends.
