Giclee print from an original watercolor painting About this item San Simeon Sailboats was inspired by the tranquil cove located just below Hearst's Castle at William Randolf Hearst State Beach in San Simeon, California. The entire area is steeped in a rich history. It's also one of my favorite places to paint. The beautiful beach is not really on the tourist's radar like the more popular beaches further south, so it's usually always peaceful and quiet. Many times I've been the only one there!  San Simeon Sailboats is reproduced from an original watercolor painting by David J Rogers. Using today’s latest Giclee printing technology, each print is individually created with archival inks on watercolor paper to look and feel just like the original, and has a projected lifespan of 80 years if protected against direct sunlight. The artwork is individually printed on order, and is inspected and hand signed by the artist.
