Wrap Around Mount 36

Note: This version is no longer made. Please consider the WAMX00, it is more stable, more adaptable and fits a larger range of cameras. This adapter offers a way to mount a microphone, light, wireless mic receiver or other accessory on small camcorders less than 3 5/8" / 90mm tall and with a tripod mount hole less than 1 3/8" / 35mm from the right surface of the camera near the lens. The WAM36 offers a long shoe slot to adjust for best shotgun mic location for balance and to avoid encroachment onto the video image. There are several standard (1/4"-20 thread) tripod mount holes on the bottom of the plate for balance adjustment. The WAM design allows plenty of room for a comfortable hand grip on most compatible compact cameras. It has been tested on the FS10, FS100, HF10 and HF100 cameras, Sony HDR-CX430 and the Panasonic X920. Many others are compatible, but there are too many to list.
