One of a Kind! Hand hammered solid sterling silver Polyphemus Moth (Antheraea polyphemus) pendant. Comes on 18" sterling silver 2mm thick rolo chain with lobster clasp. Made through chasing and repousse, a method that requires hammering every detail into sheet metal, this pendant is 3D and strong, with a lot of details. I used a drawing I made of an actual moth so I could create an accurate representation of their patterns. Measures approximately 2.5" tall x 1.5" wide, x 1/4"deep. Comes in a gift ready jewelry box, ships in eco friendly packaging. Handcrafted in Maine USA. Care & Storage Lotions, salt water, cleaning products & other chemicals can corrode metal - avoid contact or gently clean off with warm water, then dry. Store in bag/box provided & use jewelry polishing cloth to gently remove tarnish from ear wires if needed. Do not use polishing cloth or other abrasive on green patina.
