McElroy's body of work includes over 800 oil paintings and over 1,250 drawings. As a living artist, he is listed alongside Vincent van Gogh, Rembrandt, Leonardo da Vinci, Salvador Dali, Paul Cezanne and other known artists at ARTMerchandising & Media AG Website and in the slideshow of known artists at ARTMerchandising's Website next to Parfums Andy Warhol.
