The Scott Aerator Slinger deicer is designed to be suspended with nylon ropes (included) underneath a boat, a boat lift, between pilings or under/between dock(s).  This de-icer removes and prevents ice by pumping warmer water from the bottom of the waterway and sending it up and out in a continuous agitated current. It easily adjusts to compensate for varying water levels, and its heavy-duty design holds up in fresh and salt waters.
