Medical Clearance for Surgery

What is pre operatory (medical clearance)?  A pre operatory medical clearance is needed before surgery or other invasive medical procedures. The purpose of a medical clearance is to identify specific health needs and medical conditions that may require specialty management, follow-up or monitoring.     What does it include? It includes an initial office visit, lab order and follow up to discuss lab results. What are the labs that are ordered? CBC CMP TSH Urinalysis PT/ PTT *Any additional labs that are needed will not be covered and an additonal fee will be added.
