Every pet door that we offer at Dog Proofer includes a security cover and positive action steel pin lock that attaches to the frame, preventing the lock from being opened from the outside. This cover and lock can be used to secure the pet door when you are away from home for extended periods of time. You may also choose to conceal the pet door by installing a dog house over the door or planting shrubs in front of the door.
