These Promises Are to Hilarious Givers Only

Givingness is synonymous with righteousness.  In the King James Version, Matthew 6 uses the same English word, “alms”, for two completely different Greek words.  In verse 1, “alms” comes from a Greek word meaning that is rooted in “righteousness”.  In verses 2-4, the Greek word meaning is rooted in “givingness”. 2 Corinthians 9; Matthew 6; Psalm 112. VF-0590. © Copyright 1988
