A blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and a touch of Petit Verdot, honestly crafted by Michel Théron, who has been making wine since the 1980s. Michel makes a conscious choice to use less than 25% new oak for a more pure expression of terroir. Languedoc-born Michel Theron studied oenology in Bordeaux in 1988, not intending to stay, but he fell in love with Stephanie, a Bordelais. After they married, the couple began making wine from a small parcel they purchased in Cantenac in 1993. The property is currently 7 hectares in Arsac, Cantenac and Margaux. Soils on the property are a mixture of gravel and sand, and all vines are biodynamically farmed. Connects with: APC jeans. Jaques Pepin's leg of lamb. Keith Jarrett - Vienna Concert. Saab 900 turbos.
