Extremity Wedge Foam Positioning   Product Highlights: 45° wedges for general positioning. Open cell foam substrate ensures support while providing comfort for the patient. Available in Ultrafoam, an alternative closed-cell foam substrate that is more durable, rigid, and fluid-resistant. Items composed of Ultrafoam (-UF) that have a height higher than 3 inches will have a glue seam that may attenuate in scans. Available with ScanCoat®, a sprayed coating that improves the cleanability and durability of the product. Available with clear (-8) or heavy-duty (-20) vinyl covers to improve durability, cleanability, and contamination control. Covered items (-8, -20, or -SCB) are not recommended for low KVP techniques as the edges/seams may show.
