The fermentation temperature remains below 28-30 °C. Maturation happens the first 12 months in 50 hectoliter Slavonian oak barrels and the following 12 in smaller wooden containers (25/30 hectoliters). TASTING NOTES: Very expressive, starting with a red garnet that is very pure. The scent is ethereal, very rich with fragrant notes of cherries, raspberries and wild strawberries along with hints of dried flowers. The palate shows the fruit along with spices like cinnamon and vanilla. The flavor is full-bodied, intense, enveloping with fine tannins and a long, sapid finish.PAIRING SUGGESTIONS: Excellent with meat dishes, especially roasts, game and even farm animals.
