TASTING NOTES: Deep ruby red colour; nose offers aromas of fresh red fruit; refreshing acidity. Full and dense with purple and blue fruits as opposed to the red fruited sour cherry notes of Sangiovese from places like Chianti. PAIRING SUGGESTIONS: Sangiovese is always a great match to any dishes with tomato, from hearty stews and lasagna to pizzas and specially well with classic pastas from Emilia-Romagna such as Tagliatelle Bolognese.
