There are some pedal glisses and alternative articulations. The 2nd movement is an Elegy dedicated in memory of a dear bassist friend, Arti Smith.” About the Composer Dave Anderson has been Principal Bass with the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra since 1996,  and the Britt Festival Orchestra since 1994.
