About the Composition SERIAL 8403 is an original trio composed for flute, double bass, and piano, adopting a modern style and employing sound resources characteristic of contemporary music from the late 20th century. The piece features various thematic developments and utilizes the technique of "repetitive mobiles," creating moments of randomness among the instruments. The music fluctuates between rhythmically strict sections and others that are more free, both in terms of rhythm and melodic phrasing.
