About the Intonation Project I created this book to reinvent how you practice intonation. Intonation is crucial for success as a musician, and many factors affect it in our playing. When I started taking professional auditions, I was surprised that no specific method books focused on intonation. This book provides various sets of exercises for each Mozart excerpt and introduces a new approach to mastering intonation. The core idea is to give your hand time to play in tune and for you to listen and internalize the sound of a note in tune. Since the main focus is intonation, you should have already learned the excerpts before using these exercises to perfect your intonation.
