Michael Kurth: Canzonetta for Solo Double Bass

About the Composition Canzonetta is a little lyrical piece, about 2 1/2 minutes duration, that I wrote for my friend Brittany's birthday. It has a bit of scordatura, either opening your extension to Eb or drop-tuning your E string a half-step (either option works). Mostly sits in a comfy middle register, but goes up to high G for a sec, plus a few high harmonics.
