ADD A LITTLE A.R. MITCHELL TO YOUR ABODE Prolific pulp novel artist A.R. Mitchell was renowned for his Western art and illustrations. A cowboy himself, he had a knack for capturing the essence of the lifestyle in a colorful and captivating way. We’ve been fans of his work since childhood, and when it came to concepting the Romance & Rustlers collection, we acquired some of his signature prints for the design archives, which we’re now ready to pass on to y’all. This particular painting is entitled “Girl of the Rodeo” and (legend has it) depicts one of A.R. Mitchell’s former flames, as she waves her hat to what we can assume is the rodeo crowd. This image is proudly featured multiple times throughout this collection, including the season’s signature scarf.
