North Face Brooks Range Himalayan Down Parka

North Face Parka. Everybody calls this the Brooks Range or Himalayan parka but back in the day TNF called this The North Face Parka. Look it up in their early catalogs. It was their flagship parka and fittingly named after the brand when they made their best gear. Not baffled but it is actually two layers of down like the Sierra Parka with the seams offset for an overkill design. These parkas were intended to go to high altitudes and latitudes and did in fact.  This particular parka has a yellow nylon ripstop shell with the same lining. I see lots of these and later parkas with 60/40 shells and blue ripstop shells with same yellow lining but the yellow on yellow ripstop is uncommon. Condition is very good overall, this one has been worn and used lightly and it shows on the cuffs and with small holes shown in the pics but overall this parka is in great condition. Size is a medium tagged and it measures 23 inches armpit to armpit, shoulders 19-1/2 inches seam to seam, 27 inches shoulder
