In case you're wondering, here's what you want out of a bed frame and here's our quick argument on its behalf: it's rock solid; it's got smashing good looks; it's built to outlast anyone or anything you put on top of it. We can build the Surfboy in a couple different ways. Since shipping a fully assembled bed is an expensive and awkward non-starter, for out-of-towners we make the frame with concealed powder-coated steel brackets and embedded hardware for quick and painless assembly. For in-towners we can usually get the queen and the full into most spaces assembled (the headboard bolts on in all applications). And if you've got big doors and no tight corners, maybe even the king. In these cases the frame is glued-up into one glorious piece.
