Workingman's Drink Caddy, 1960s

Homemade caddy made of scrap metal, seems to be containers one might find in a craftsman's work area. Delightful color combination of the purples and blues, great proportion and overall design. Love the flourish where the handle is riveted to the side. I believe someone made this to carry beer cans wherever they were working (there's a possibility he carried mason jars full of nails/screws). I'm choosing to believe the beer angle. It's graphic delight and incidentally modern form make for an endlessly curious sculpture.    9.5" h x 8.75" x 8.5"
