Swamp Rabbit Rail | 12 x 20 | Linoleum Block Print
Swamp Rabbit Rail / 12" x 20" / Linoleum carving This print focuses on the history of the Swamp Rabbit Trail (SRT). The SRT is a 22+mile multi-use rail trail in Greenville County, South Carolina, that largely follows the bed of a former railroad (Greenville + Northern Railway). It was nicknamed the “Swamp Rabbit” by its riders back in the mid-1900’s. The design depicts the original train morphing into a rabbit, symbolizing the passing of the baton from a lumber and agricultural railroad to the walking and bicycling greenway we have today. This piece is a limited edition, single color linoleum carving by Douglas Piper. - Mailed via the USPS 3-day Priority- Only available in the US- Please allow up to 2 weeks for processing and shipping.
