How does it work? With animation, such as talking or smiling, the muscles around the lips can cause them to curl inward and appear thinner. A small amount of Botox can be injected into the muscles at the edge of the lips, causing them to relax. This allows the lip to “flip” slightly upward and appear fuller without adding volume.
