A decently large flowered hybrid with nice dark mahogany color vs the more "blonde" coloration in many Grande's! This was sold to us as "Phrag Grande var Monroe", we aren't sure if they were originally divisions of the Phrag Grande 'Monroe' that received a CCM/AOS in 1997, so we are keeping the label as it was presented to us due to the unknown provenance (potentially even a self or sibbing from that original plant?). Sequential bloomer, usually carrying 1-2 flowers at a time.
