Debra makes these extravagant velvet Ale Wife hats with matching over-the-top hat pins! Each hat pin is a one of a kind sculpture that is determined by the mood of the hat. This hat is period to the Renaissance era, and was worn by women ale brewers. It is said that male brewers were not happy about the competition, and accused the women of selling a tainted brew, calling them witches.  Debra redesigned this hat giving the brim a fedora curve, and swept the pointed crown to the back, giving it more flare.
