‘Trust Issues’

‘Trust Issues’ uses skull imagery to explore the tension between confidence and doubt. The composition sits in that uneasy space where certainty is questioned and intuition is tested, allowing the subject to function less as symbol and more as psychological mirror.   Rather than offering answers, the work holds the question open—what we trust, why we hesitate, and how perception is shaped by experience. The skull becomes a stand-in for discernment itself, stripped of distraction and confronting the viewer with their own judgment.   In ‘Trust Issues’, skepticism is not framed as weakness, but as awareness—a necessary pause between impulse and belief.
