✨Saks 5th Avenue✨ - Mug

NYC shines brighter during the holidays and Saks 5th Avenue adds to that sparkle with their famous windows. On a chilly night last December I stood outside and made this illustration to bring the lights to you.    Keep reading for details on this mug -- and for a story of how this drawing came to be.  ✨For the holidays, the front of this timeless Manhattan department store has been transformed into a sparkling palace made of millions of twinkling lights. Standing across the street from @saks, I watched throngs of early holiday shoppers and seasoned New Yorkers stop for a moment to stand in awe of the animated windows filled with sparkly evening gowns, dazzling gems and yes, the cast of Frozen II. If you stand there long enough, you’ll get to see the windows literally come to life with lights and moving parts, not to mention the building itself which every twenty minutes or so comes alive with a light and music show that almost literally stops traffic.
