When we were designing the Jupiter Blues, we wanted to have that perfect balance of something that Jimmy Page could wail on, or Bo Diddly could could make sing. We started with a chambered Mahogany body with a Maple cap for this axe. Some would say it is similar to a Les Paul in that manner, but it is a bit more unique than that. We had always heard stories of Bo Diddly and Eddie Van Halen taking old guitars and hacking them up until they felt that they looked and sounded right, so in the vein of those old school legends, we took the CAD drawing of the Dream Studios Nightmare and started hacking away.
