Modern sound, classic sound, the Maverick Bass gives you the best of both worlds. To compliment our Maverick guitar line, may we introduce you to her larger sibling, the Maverick Bass. Using the same sexy contours of the Maverick guitar, the Maverick bass starts off as a solid piece of Swamp Ash that is whittled down to it's vintage offset shape, with generous belly cuts and forearm relief. Add in a Hard Maple 34" Scale Neck that is bolted up to the Maverick Body and you realize that you are getting a serious players' machine. The satin finish on the neck, the 21 jumbo frets; it is begging to lay down that back beat for you. And routed in to that Swamp Ash body are two Seymour Duncan Alnico Active Humbuckers, 1 in the neck and 1 in the bridge position. The Seymour Duncan Humbuckers give you the option of Active or Passive tone. There are 2 Volume controls, 1 for each pick-up and a balance knob and the 3-band EQ control.
