How do you make such an iconic guitar better and your own? Read on. The Young is obviously influenced by the infamous Gibson SG and the players who played it. At Dream Studios, we never want to be a "Me Too" company, and we had a real tough time deciding on to put this guitar into production. But after heavy,heavy deliberation and listening to a ton of Fugazi, AC/DC, Doors, and Black Sabbath we decided we had to do it. How do you make such an iconic guitar better and your own? Read on. Starting with a Solid Mahogany body, and set Mahogany neck with a super radiused and access back, we took the tradtional SG shape and started giving it a modern twist and flavor. Rather than go with a more modern 1.75' thickness, we chose a vintage 1.5" thickness, and radiused the body and rounded out the shape, while still keeping the traditional style of horns. Now to keep true to the playability of a traditional "Rock God" guitar, we kept the set neck with a 22 Jumbo Fret 24.7" scale and then topped i
