I first surfed as a teenager in the 1980s, It was so cool to actually be there after seeing it on tv and magazines for years. I can remember it being crowed with surfers of every age with amazingly long and fun rides. Today it is still full of all kinds of surfers, but the most noticeable are the women whose graceful styles compliment the wave and the landscape.
