Drew's "Tee of Life" High resolution prints ABOUT THE ART The inspiration behind this painting, as described by Drew: "During one of my surf trips to Tahiti, I met the grandmother of my Tahitian friend.  She told me the story of the breadfruit tree, and this painting was inspired by it.  She explained how in Tahiti, the breadfruit tree gave life to people in her family.  These trees gave sustenance and would feed generation after generation.  When they saw a thriving breadfruit tree they knew that it had fed their ancestors and cared for them. Imagine having a tree in the back yard that your great, great, great grandfather had planted and it's been feeding your family for generations. These trees are very special in Polynesia." THE TREE OF LIFE original painting is one of three paintings that were created for Hinano Tahiti, a Tahitian company based in Southern California.  They bought the originals for their corporate offices.  This painting is one of Drew's favorites from 2010.   The
